Loads no larger than 12 feet wide, 15 feet high, and 110 feet long are authorized for night transport, whereas loads up to 14 feet wide, 15 feet high, and 110 feet long may move on weekends, except in prohibited zones.

Weekend travel is permitted for loads more than 14 feet wide, 15 feet high, 110 feet long, and 15 feet of overhang, however they cannot travel on I-80 between Reno and the California boundary or on I-15 between Las Vegas (exit 33) and the California line if they are larger than 12 feet wide.

The permitted dimensions for oversize/overweight vehicles in Nevada are:
- Length: 53 feet for semi-trailers; 75 feet maximum (including overhang).
- Overhang of 10 feet.
- Width: 8 feet 6 inches.
- Height: 18 ft.
- Weight: 80,000 pounds gross, with axle weight constraints.

Nevada Routine Permit Limits and Escort Requirements

Nevada's standard permit restrictions allow for more expansive dimensions, including:
- Width: 17'
- Height: sixteen feet.
- Weight: up to 101,000 pounds, with specified axle weight limitations.

Escort automobile needs differ depending on the amount of the load and the kind of roadway. Escorts are needed on interstates and four-lane or more roads for lengths exceeding 110 feet, overhangs exceeding 25 feet, widths exceeding 14 feet, and heights exceeding 15 feet 6 inches. On two-lane roadways, the standards are more strict, with up to three escorts required for widths more than 16 feet.
