A new investigation from the university of south Australia emphasizes something we are aware of but never question it. its overuse of technology and social media platforms by high school students leads to less sleep and their bedtime and health at risk.

The analysis examined the sleep pattern of more than 400 students in Australian schools and found a very intriguing habit pattern. The students who are part of the investigation are teens (12-18 years old ) the study revealed that most of the younger students are occupied with gaming late in the night and the older students are active on social media platforms, watching series, etc.

The major reason for sleep compromise on the weekend is social media among students although on weekdays the blame goes on steaming/TV.

Students who prefer to sleep early are less influenced by technology although students who are night owls can be at greater risk due to high usage of technology late at night.

Nowadays it's common for youngsters to own devices ( mobile phones, computers, tablets, etc.) although it somehow impacts their overall mental and physical health. Most students spend their precious time on social media, gaming, or watching something on their phones or other electronic devices. We should oversee their usage and control it before the technology can take over their lives.
