Eldritch the Rectifier is situated just North of the Waypoint in Frigid Highlands. The distance is ~1 screen height above you when you initially load into the area. He is typically close enough that you could agree with his pack without pulling other mobs into range.

Shenk in Bloody Foothills

Shenk the Overseer is situated to the South East from the Waypoint in Frigid Highlands. He is technically at the end of the Bloody Foothills. He spawns in the middle of the shown landing zone having a large amount of "minions" around him. (They don't gain the Minion bonuses like normal.)

Tips Tricks

Shenk's Death Sequence

When Shenk is killed, there's a triggered sequence of the "catapult barrage" which concentrates on his body. This sequence kills every monster in the region, causing them to drop loot. Although your Magic Find doesn't affect these drops, there might be good Bases and Rune drops in the surrounding mobs. Make sure to look at the screen before continuing.

High Damage Output Monsters

Shenk the Overseer is usually surrounded by highly lethal categories of ranged, and fast-moving monsters that may deal lots of damage to under-geared Characters. If his Area spawns with Burning Archers, Hellcats, Raptors, or Quill Rats, you might want to Save and Exit if you cannot handle them safely. Some Characters have very helpful Skills to mitigate these threats:

Amazon - Decoy, Valkyrie

Assassin - Cloak of Shadows, Mind Blast, Shadow Master, Shadow Warrior

Barbarian - Howl, Taunt, War Cry

Druid - Summon Grizzly

Necromancer - Dim Vision, Confuse, Attract, Bone Wall, Bone Prison

Sorceress - Ice Blast, Glacial Spike

Every Character has multiple Builds which could farm Eldritch and Shenk. We list the very best build to create quick work for both Bosses. Note: Every Build, apart from Cold Damage dealers, can farm these packs with relative ease.

Amazon - Lightning Fury

With her Lightning Fury damage scaling with density, these two boss packs are quickly deleted. For Hardcore and lower-power Characters, Slow Missiles also eliminate the main threats that typically spawn near them.

Assassin - Lightning Sentry

This Assassin can set up her Lightning Sentry traps and start killing both bosses' packs off-screen. With a mixture of Death Sentry to quickly complete the pack, and Cloak of Shadows making her invisible holiday to a dangerous mob, this build excels.

Barbarian - Berserk

This build concentrates on killing the boss of every pack and taking advantage of Find Item on Eldritch. (Shenk doesn't leave behind an appearance to target.) Using Howl to pay off the trash minions, Berserk also starts one-shotting at certain gear levels. This build would only farm on the Players 1 Setting because you do not get rid of the minions whatsoever.
