Cricket fever has gripped fans as India goes on a tour of Zimbabwe, which begins on July 6th, 2024 and ends on July 14th. This tour is crucial for both sides since it allows players to demonstrate their abilities while also providing fans with exciting cricket action. Team India will face Zimbabwe in the series opener on July 6th. 

Following India's recent T20 World Cup success, this tour will provide an opportunity to see the future generation of Indian cricket stars in action. With experienced players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja resting, the attention is on Shubman Gill, who will lead the squad, as well as other promising young players. He is accompanied by National Cricket Academy (NCA) chief VVS Laxman, who will serve as the Men In Blue's stand-in head coach. His new-look Team India arrives in Harare on Thursday to begin a five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. 

On the other hand, Zimbabwe will be captained by veteran all-rounder Sikandar Raza. Zimbabwe has selected a young side in an effort to rebuild under new head coach Justin Sammons after failing to qualify for the recently ended T20 World Cup. The 38-year-old right-hander is the team's most experienced player, with 86 matches under his belt, followed by 29-year-old Luke Jongwe, who has appeared in 63 games. Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani, both fast bowlers with 52 and 51 T20I matches, are the other experienced players in the squad.
