Hello, I’m Risko Isic , the proud Head of Sirromet Winery. With over 20 years immersed in the Food and Drink industry, my career has been a dynamic blend of dedication, innovation, and passion.

My journey began after graduating in Hotel Management from the esteemed École Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. This advanced education and the diverse experiences I gained there laid the foundation for my professional path. I soon found myself at the center of culinary excellence, working at the renowned 3 Michelin Star restaurant Fischerzunft in Schaffhausen. This role was instrumental in shaping my approach to operational perfection and culinary artistry.

My journey didn't end in Switzerland. I brought my expertise to Brisbane, where I immersed myself in the city's vibrant food scene. I had the privilege of contributing to some of Brisbane's finest establishments before founding Mariosarti, an Italian restaurant in Toowong. For over five years, Mariosarti was more than just a restaurant; it was a realization of my vision for Italian cuisine in Australia, blending traditional methods with modern twists.

One of my most innovative projects was the creation of a premier dining experience on the Wheel of Brisbane. This endeavor was not just about serving exceptional food but also about crafting memorable experiences with stunning city views.

Throughout my career, my contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades from the Australian Restaurant and Catering Industry and the Italian Hospitality and Trade Association. These awards are not just honors; they reflect the hard work and creativity that my teams and I have invested in every project.
