2017 saw the unforeseen modest beginning of Camp George Everest, which consisted of a tiny camp made up entirely of temporary structures. Mr Shoeb founded the camp. As Indian wildlife tourism had not yet developed, the camp experienced highs and lows. It was gradually changed in 2019 to a more long-term structure with permanent luxurious tents. It is currently regarded as one of Uttarakhand's top camping and hiking destinations.
Camp George Everest is one of the top hiking and camping sites in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, and is now operated and managed by a group of dedicated individuals who offer an outstanding camping experience. The location has served over 1000 tourists. The group consists of naturalists, nature guides, swimmers, adventurers, trekkers, Pahari chefs, and Mr Raman Sharma, a travel professional with a Mussoorie office who handles marketing for the Trail Hikers.
