Dr. Domenico Calcaterra is highly qualified in the field of cardiac surgery, having earned board certification in various subspecialties. He was accepted by medical boards in four different states: Minnesota, Florida, Indiana, and Iowa. He was able to earn his medical license in the USA in 1998. The American College of Surgeons didn't accept him as a Fellow until 2010.
